Most people like believes that the reward for hardwork is more work, but for
the management of Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc, it believes that workers
who have consistently gone beyond the call of duty should be rewarded.
In this regard, the Managing Director Dr Hefer approved the promotion of
seven junior staff into the senior staff cadre of the company.
Names of the promoted staff are, Aifesehi Christopher - workshop
department, Nwanedi Marcellinus- Estate department, Osasumwen
Imuetinyan - Oil Mill Richie Eseohe - Oil Mill Aimienwanwu Clement -
plantation department. Undie Gabriel Tamunotonye - Plantation, Asemota
God'slove - Palm Plantation promoted to a Plantation Assistant in
Extension 2.
These promotions take effect from January 2020.
Beside these promotion, many others workers were given merit increment
ranging from one step to four steps.
